Mid-Career Personal Assessment

By the time you have been working for several years, you probably know quite a lot about what you can do.
What can be harder is deciding what you still want from your career, which parts of your experience you want to build on, and what you may be ready to leave behind.
That is what the Working You Mid-Career Assessment is designed to help you explore.
You will complete three questionnaires looking at:
- What is most likely to motivate you and make work feel satisfying.
- Your natural personality characteristics and strengths.
- Your behavioural preferences, including how you tend to communicate, interact and approach different situations.
You will also have the option to upload your CV. This is not compulsory, but we recommend including it if you have one available.
Your CV provides useful context about your experience, skills, qualifications, achievements and career history. Considering this alongside your assessment results allows us to make your report more personal and relevant.
Your previous experience will help inform the guidance, but it will not restrict you to roles similar to those you have already held. The purpose is to identify career possibilities that take account of both who you are and what you have done.
Your results may help explain why certain roles, responsibilities or working environments have suited you, and why others may have become frustrating or unsatisfying.
The aim is to help you think more clearly about career change, development, retraining, or finding a role and working environment that fit you better.
There is nothing to pass or fail, and there are no right or wrong answers. The most useful results come from answering naturally and honestly, rather than choosing what you think an employer or anyone else would prefer.
The complete assessment should take approximately 35 to 40 minutes. You will receive clear instructions before each section, including how long that part is likely to take.
